BRINGING INNOVATION TO MARKET
The UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering and the Rady School of Management have joined forces to create The Institute for the Global Entrepreneur to inspire and prepare engineers to be entrepreneurial leaders and translate technology innovations to market to fuel the economy and benefit society. With a unique blend of education, workshops, and one-on-one mentoring, our programs are geared to help our engineers address real-world issues with technology solutions.
"IGE has made a significant difference in creating an ecosystem where engineers learn business skills, engage with industry mentors, and have access to potential investors. If done right, the translation of innovations coming out of the university creates companies, and positively affects the innovation economy of San Diego." - Sujit Dey, Director IGE
